David Grome 1976 – 2019

Our co-founder, David Grome, passed away just before 5 a.m. on May 26, 2019.  He sold his last pair of sunglasses in January 2019.  As a family business, we are devastated by the loss.  His innovation and spirit can be found everywhere.  While returning from a trip to Arkansas in 2010, he came up with the idea for a sunglass store and suggested it should be named “Sunglasses ‘n’ Stuff.”  His previous experience as an electrician on major construction projects proved to be invaluable to bring the enterprise together.
